Why am I going crazy, I cant stop crying..?

Ugh okay, so i apologize in advance for this sounding utterly ridiculous and stupid but bear with me. I'm currently in a long distance relationship, due to the military. My fiance is stationed in New Mexico which is really far away from where I am, but its better than when he was in Italy I have to admit.. Anyways, for the last little bit it's been stressful, a couple of his friends went over to Iraq, and one of my best friends was just killed on Monday in Kandahar by an IED. So I've been really worried about him latley, you know being paranoid. But I haven't talked to him much latley, since he's working 12 hour shifts right now due to his shop failing inspection and he doesn't have internet at his place atm. He calls or texts the odd time to tell me he loves me and misses me. Yesterday, things started to lighten up at work and when his time came to switch to work at desks [with computers] he emailed me. I got his email and I just started balling... You wouldn't believe, I cried my eyes out. We kept replying and emailing until he was off duty. But the thing is tho... nothing of his emails were bad, they were all about how much he loved and missed me and cant wait to see me soon etc. so idk why ive been crying.. i do worry about when he's in the actual shop working on bombs, i mean you know something could happen and he could get seriously seriously hurt. He keeps telling me he's good at what he does, and I know he is, but I'm still scared sh!tless

i know this is getting really long, sorry :-(

but my question is, why am i being so overly emotional? i don't get it, everytime he emails me i cry, and i literally pace around the house waiting for that email jingle to sound so i can read his reply

how can i stop this? any advice? i really dont want to tell him all this, not due to lack of communication, just the fact that he's working so hard and long hours and he's just exhausted. altho he does know a bit that im worried about him but he doesnt know im crying 24/7 or crying myself to sleep

okay im going to stop, since now all im doing is rambling. can anyone help tho? why am i being an emotional wreck? how can i make it stop?

i know its alot to ask, but id really really appreciate it!

thanks
hollyy

i know exactly what you are going through and i promise that things do get easier! have you thought about LINKS? i am not sure what branch your fiance is in but i know that in the navy and in the marine corps they have programs for the spouses or soon to be spouses. i know that this is going to sound crappy but i really do think that you are doing good to not tell him all of this. i only try to just let it out a little bit at a time. its hard when our men are in danger and as much as we want to hear from them and talk to them it makes us cry cry cry when we do! when my hubs is gone i focus on work and school even doing as much as 12 hour shifts. some days are good and some days...well they just aren't. lol. but you have to trust that he is going to be well. have faith in his training and have faith in your relationship. i know that its hard to go weeks without talking to them but it won't be like this forever and when he does got back it will be grand. i completely understand where you are coming from though but i assure you that as worried as you are about him he's just as worried about you. cherish the "i love yous" and "i miss yous" and know that when he's saying those three little words he is saying so so much more that he can't fit in his text box. it gets easier dear. i promise.

aww baby.. i know its really bad right now.. theres not much you can do.. but it will pass.. i get like that too sometimes and i'm on medication to calm me down.. you sound like you're going through severe anxiety.. maybe you could see a doctor and tell him of the extreme stress you're going through.. and share how you feel with someone you trust.. dont worry.. you'll be okay

i think u are very sensitive and emotional....i wouldnt say u r over reacting.U love him very much and u want to be with him all the time and he loves u too..so when u read or chat with him,i think you would be hoping to see him have intimate time and all and u feel sad because all this is'nt happening right now.
thats ok honey, hang on there...u'll defenetly be content one day
he is soo lucky to have you,not everyone is sincere like u in a long distance relation ships

when my husband left for a bussiness trip for 3 months...i diid almost the same thing...whenever someone used to knock on the door ...i felt its him....i thought he is back to surprise me,but obviously there was someone else....but it all ended and so it will for u!take care!!!

You miss him. You are worried about him and that's normal hon.Plus one your best friends just died. You have a lot on your plate all at once.It may help to talk to a grief counselor or maybe there is somewhere for civilians to talk to a counselor provided by the military. I hope this helps hon.

Questioning wife.....
Thats only normal.

When you start to cry because your husband has to stay late for work - like me - then you have an emotional problem
