Why are people saying that Hitler killed his wife after he got married?

He had already decided on suicide, and his long time mistress had decided that she would hill herself as well. As a gesture, he married her before hand, so that she could die as Frau Hitler. Although there were no witnesses, it seems they both took Cyanide and shot themselves simultaneously.

Well he did, then killed himself, they were married in the bunker in Berlin as the war was ending and the allies were closing in around him, they had a cermony, a celebration then they took posion and he shot himself. Not 100% sure if he shot her then himself, I seem to recall he only shot himself.

Hitler and Ava Bruan got married as the Russians invaded Berlin. They then both took suicide pills so the Russians couldn't kill them.

She married him right before Berlin was sacked, they officially committed suicide in a last defiant act, whilst sitting in his bunker.

Well, your teacher isn't incorrect but he's not really correct either. He died soon before World War II ended; initially, the Germans were doing extremely well with their superior army and weapons, but by the end the Allies came through with their strategic plans and the Axis Powers went downhill from there.

He was also relatively ill; people have said he may have had Parkinson's disease, among other minor illnesses and I think the stress that built up from there ultimately led to his SUICIDE, and his wife most likely did so voluntarily along with Hitler. Hitler shot himself, and his wife used cyanide to poison herself.

No one can confirm what happened and what exactly led to their suicide, but seriously, what would have happened to Hitler after WWII?...

They got married half an hour before they both died, they both knew they wouldnt survive so she took syanide and he shot himself

He killed her and then committed suicide just 40 hours after getting married.

The Russians were very near, he would have been captured, so he got married (as one does) He then shot his wife to prevent her from falling into Russian hands and he then took poison. The SS burnt his body on a patch of waste ground and then ground up the bones so nothing remained.

I don't know of him ever being married. He had a mistress for quite a while though. Nearing the end of the war he and she were locked in hiding and knew they were surrounded. He shot her and then shot himself before they could get him.

Because the Allies were closing in his underground bunker. I think it was the Russians....Even the children of Hitler's closest advisers were murdered by their parent's. I believe Hitler killed his precious dog too. Just history, nothing romantic...

hmmm....varying stories...as I was under the assumption that he and Braun both comitted suicide...yes, right after they got married, but it was not because of that, they were about to be overtaken by our allies, and he took the chicken way out to avoid being captured. (I am not sure if their marriage was a symbol, or if he was trying to do the Godly thing which would by about as hippocrytical as it gets (he was a self-righteous, murderous, criminal)

I like to think that his wife killed him, then she committed suicide.

He killed his wife first and then killed himself. She was his neece a relative so that shows how sick the man was.
