My fiancee of two years dumped me a month before the wedding.

I was devastated.

I ended up marrying someone with the same exact first name as her.

I can honestly say it's just coincidence.

He might have liked the looks of his ex , but that ex might not have been ''the best'' for him in character...So , he left her and turned to you who resembles his ex , but is disciplined and takes good care of him. I am sure you are that!

It isn't uncommon for men to choose women who look similar. Chemically you match... But did you ever think that you are the one that he, "Fell in love with".
He might have loved the other girls he dated but wasn't "In Love". Big difference.
I know that is how it was for me. I was dating a girl that just didn't seem right, broke up with her, and 3 months later met my wife and fell "Madly head over heels, IN LOVE" with her.
The biggest thing is that you need to talk to him. Have open communication with him and ask him what made him choose you? He shouldn't have any problem telling you.

I'm not sure what your worried about, your husband probably just has a "type". The guys I end up dating usually look pretty similar...
Ha, I just now realized they have all been hispanic (whatever that really means, I thought mexican sounded strange to say) dark hair, dark eyes, dark skin, and good family values...what more could you ask for.
Anyways, back on track, your husband probably just goes after a certain kind of appearance. I hope you don't think that he chose you specifically because you look like his ex.

I wouldn't be too worried about it, alot of people have a "type" but they wouldn't marry you unless they cared about you beyond your looks.
