I had a wonderful relationship with my best friend. She and I were so close but never became anything else other than best friends. I had so many problems with her family because I would "make her look bad". I guess because I never realized it was time to move to the next level. My concern was that she never mentioned anything in specific about loving me, ever. She was with me for love, but I never realized until we stopped talking. We kept it as friends, until I had a major dispute with one of her family members. By that time most of her family had stopped talking to me. I didn't feel confident that she would pull for me so I gave her the cold shoulder.
It has been a year or so, and now I can't stop thinking of her and dreaming of her almost nightly. I dream that she's getting married or that she won't talk to me, ever. But in all the dreams she never seems happy with other guys. She still says hi to me if I approach her but not more than just a hi.
I have even tried to look for other relationships but she's always in my mind. I feel like I can't move on because Im always comparing other girls (even without meeting them) to her. I tried moving away from her and put some distance and it hasn't worked. I came back. I had to see her and at least know she's close.
Should I just look for her and forget the bad stuff? Is it worth to be with her even though I wouldn't be welcomed with her family. I still don't get along with her family at heart, even though I respect them and avoid any confrontations.
What should I do? This is keeping me up late at night.

I forgot to mentioned that I already told her what I feel after so long. I think she was happy about it. I sent her flowers and tried giving her a special gift. We talked about once a week but for five minutes. I know I made mistakes and I already spoke to her about this. She told me there was no need to ask for forgivenss.
But now she's giving me the cold shoulder. I asked her to have lunch and hang out. Her life is so busy that she didn't give me a time and day. She is not going out with anyone and occasionally I catch her looking at me duiring a meeting we attend together. After the meeting I went to say hi to her but left feeling so bad because she didn't speak to me a word.

Dude, definitely call her and tell her how you feel! You are obviously in love with her and you have to tell her.
You're dreaming of her every night because you have to face something (telling her how you feel.) Until you do that, you won't stop dreaming of her.
Update:
OK - If she knows how you feel about her and she's giving you the cold shoulder, maybe it's time to move on. Did she ever make you aware that she was in love with you too? Maybe she is worried about what her family thinks and feels about you. Either way, it sounds like this situation needs closure. Write her a letter and make sure your feelings are all clear. Maybe even write a letter to the family member that you had the major dispute with. |

Man, you two need to learn to communicate. If you feel so strongly about her, she needs to know. She may feel the same way and you two are just waiting for one to initiate it. If she's still free then you have a good chance. Try to repair the damage with the family if you can, that would ease her pains. Just try to be quiet when her family is close and maintain peace as much as you can. |

Hey, come on my dear. You love her. Why dont u tell her ? You just have to take one step of talking to her. Start with a hi and tell her how much you missed her so many days . Tell her you cannot spend a day without thinking of her. She will be happy to hear it. I am sure she too likes you. And just waiting to hear it from you. And believe me, you will be very happy , that you told her you are in love with her.
