Am I a bad person because I'm tired of hearing about all my friends and family getting engaged? When my girl friend got engaged on Christmas, I was quite ecstatic... When my 2 cousins got engaged on new years, I was very excited... When my other homegirl got engaged on valentines day I was happy... When my 2 sorority sisters got engaged less than a week apart I was still happy... Now that another of my cousins got engaged last week, and two more friends this week, I'm just tired already! I feel bad for feeling this way... What is wrong with me??????

You shouldn't feel bad about the way you feel. Those are you personal feelings and you are allowed to have them. So don't beat yourself up over it. While they are out spending money on these weddings help them and have fun. Look at is as experience for when ever you and your mate decide to tie the knot. |

I think just about anyone in your position would feel a little bit of envy, so don't beat up on yourself too much. I'm sure you are happy for all of them, it is just that you aren't happy for you.
But, Dearie, your time will come. It will come. We will all be very, very happy for you. |

Wow! Sounds like you live in the right town for love! haha Nothing is wrong with you! I'd get annoyed too if everyone around me was getting engaged and spending all their time now planning their weddings. Perhaps you're a little jealous, wishing you could call your friends and cousins and tell them that you too are marrying the love of your life. It'll pass though. Don't feel too bad. It's just a little heartache. Love will find you too. |

You're just tired of hearing about it, because its NOTHING new to you. Its just like the Swine flu that's happening right now. Even though the flu kills many people ALL the time, for some reason they feel the need to talk and nag about this flu. i mean its NOTHING new. |

Nothing at all. You just havent met your Mr Right yet, thats all. With present day statistics half your friends will end in divorce anyway so whats the hurry. If you rephrase this if they were all jumping off a bridge would you be in a hurry to do the same? Be patient and youll get engaged when the time is right for you so theres nothing wrong at all with you. good luck |

Do you want to be married? If that's the case you have a simple case of envy. I know it all seems to be happening at the same time but that's the way life works. I have a niece who is trying to get pregnant. She's watching her sister and cousins pop out kids like it's nothing. She's trying to be strong but it's obvious they have something she wants. Just be patient. It will happen when you're least expecting it. Good luck. |
