Why do I just want to get married and settle down already?

I've been with my bf for three years now. The entire time we've been together, I have always told him my schooling comes first before marriage. I just wanted to get through it and then settle down. Now that we've been together for so long and I love him so much, I actually have the urge to just settle down already. For the last year of our relationship we have been sort of long distance (2 Hours away) and it has actually brought us a lot closer. Recently, I found out that I was pregnant but I lost the baby (all within a few weeks). My bf has been very supportive; first, when we thought we were having an unplanned baby, and then when I found out I lost it. Now it feels like I just want to start planning a life with him right this second. He's been so sweet lately and he just has the greatest things to say to me. I love him and I just want to be with him. Idk if the distance is finally taking a toll or if it was the shock of something completely unplanned coming into our lives and the realization that we could actually make it work. I just really want to be with him. Am I crazy? I have never felt so strongly about this before. Why?

The reason that you feel this way is because you saw how he was there for you when you really needed him. Grieving always lets you open your eyes to see what you have, I'm sorry to hear about your loss, I hope this helps somehow, good luck if you guys try again. |
