Why do girls always do this?

Ive never seen or heard of another one of my girlfriends doing this if they are with their man. Me and my group of girls hardly do it when we have a girls night, forget if were with our SOs. However, I see it as probably being a tactic to make you jealous. Or a not so subtle way to drop hints about the way you dress, your hair, ect. If she comments about how good a guys hair looks, maybe shes trying to tell you that you need a new style. Same with the way you dress. Ive done that with my husband before while we were looking at magazines. It was a good way for me to get him to put on a nice shirt once in a while instead of his ratty old t shirts all the time.

They're trying to make you jealous! If you know a girl is doing that, ask her out, she's interested. Trust me.

My advice, just don't worry about it and don't let it bother you. If a girl does it, call her on it and tease her about it. Something like, "Is that all we are to you, just a piece of meat", and then shake your head in utter shame, or give her a big thumbs down with a dissapproving look like she has completely failed you as a person (as a joke).

If she does it, and then you do it, and she gets angry, call her on her contradiction, but in a jokey friendly way, like "waitaminute, weren't you just oogling guys a second ago. hmmm :-| " or point out she did it before you, and that she must be influencing you, add "You're corrupting my innocence. You are a bad influence :-( Before I know it, I'm going to be selling crack to preschoolers because of you". Yet again, like a joke. It should contain no actual ill will towards the person.

Try it, let me know if it helps. Just tease and have some fun with it, and this way atleast you can communicate a nugget of truth at the same time.

Uh, maybe little high schoolers do this, but WOMEN do not.

If you want to get away from this, there are two easy solutions: DELETE your Myspace, and date MATURE women. Simple as that.

not all girls do that. I do not do that to my husband at all. i am happy with who i married. i have no need to look at other men. i know how lucky i am to be married to my husband.

Because they are girls not women we women wouldn't do that and if i did then that means you have the right to look and comment yourself it's only fair. Sounds like you are hanging around the wrong girls.

well we can never find truly interesting stuff to talk about and since guys are a common topic among all girls it's easy to make conversation about. the reason girls get jealous is cause we are way competitive and wouldn't want to lose their boyfriend to another girl

okay, most girls ALWAYS love to be your center of attention, and it kind of sounds like she is trying to get you jealous when she talks about other guys and when u say something about a girl, he plan is backfiring.

All girls don't ALWAYS do this. Just the type of girls you hang around.

Most women like to be the center of attention. When they comment on a good looking guy they just say it to make you jelous prolly, but mean nothing by it. But when you comment on a girl they think it's very serious and become jelous.

because it's ok when the girls do it, but it's not ok when the guys do it. That's like a double edge sword. Women are nagging crazies.
