Why is it possible for some to go from eating, breathing and almost dying by the thought of not having their partner in their life, to completely falling out of love?

Think of a relationship the same way you would your favorite band or musical artist. If they put out the same type of music and had the same image...after a while you would get bored. They are no longer fresh and exciting. People lose interest and move on to something newer and fresher. Well, when you're in a relationship it's not always fair/right/proper to dump your significant other for something new, so you begin to resent the person and have a much shorter fuse or temper with them.
Believe it or not this can be easily corrected. You have to keep it new and exciting. How do yo do that? Well simply by doing something new and exciting every now and then. It may be doing something special in bed that you've never done before...or maybe reversing roles...for example if you're a woman...take your man out, open the door for him, pay, then try to get in his pants at the end of the night...or if you're a man...cook and clean for her.
The point is always have them thinking in the back of their minds that you are likely to do something fun and crazy out of the blue. That keeps them interested. It also makes them less likely to remain mad at your because they want to solve all problems quickly so that they get back to the "fresh and exciting" you. |

If you obsess about anything, you will eventually do the polar opposite and not obsess about it.
Anyone who "falls into love" is all crap. You should be in love with someone the same emotionally stable way as you love your best friend. It's not all romantic 24/7 or fireworks, it a constant & stable happiness. If a romantic partner isn't the same way, then a person was never emotionally healthy to get married in the first place. |
