1. We've got to look sxy & skinny
2. We've got to clean & cook every day for you guys
3. We've got to do your smelly laundry
4. We don't leave you to watch some sports game
5. We can't just ever look like whatever or we'll look like crap - I mean come on! You guys don't have to care whether or not those jeans make your a*s*s look too big, whether your fat is showing too much, whether your hair or makeup looks good, etc. Never ever say again that women get away with everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I think the real question here is, "Why can't chauvinist men use correct English?". Women don't "get away" with anything. We use our power of persuasion and our literary minds to explain our behaviors when we feel the need to enlightened those less fortunate in understanding. BTW Karate D, I don't know a single weak woman and I earn more than my husband.

What are you implying that women "get away with"? Get out of a speeding ticket? Happens less than you think...it's difficult to think of anything else that women get away with.

You could ask questions like why 30 years after the Women's Movement, women still make $0.75 to the dollar of male income, or why the majority of those in power (congress etc.) are male. The truth is, women don't get away with nearly as much as you believe they do.

If you let a woman "get away" with something, it's because you're letting her, and why that is I'm not entirely sure

The ones that do; they are probably very attractive.
But even so, they won't be able to negotiate with the law just because of their looks. But maybe just regular men--yes.

we totally do not! okay so have you watched the devil wears prada? (probably not it's a total chick flick, but) andy (the main character) says that even though miranda (the boss) is called the "dragon lady" if she was a man no one would notice anything about her but how good she is at what she does. sorry... really long thing but it's totally true! like if a man cheats its tolerated because men do that kind of thing and it's accepted but if a woman cheats it becomes a whole scandal and she is considered a horrible person and a ****. it's unfair! have you ever noticed how much slack men get? it's just tolerated when they do something like the saying "boys will be boys" but if a girl does something it becomes a big scandal and everyone is shocked! so think about that when you think women always get away with everything!

Women are not controlled by you, they don't need your permission, and they do what they please, just like men. They don't "get away" with anything because they never needed your input in the first place.
