Why do women have babies with men who've proven not to be good fathers?

Well Shar has always said he was a good dad so I think that example is a little off tangent. He did a crappy thing as a human and left her while she was pregnant but he was always very involved with his kids and we really don't want to get into Britney's parenting skills. To answer your question though, some women believe their partners have changed and are willing to commit to them when they weren't ready to do that with other folks in the past. Sometimes they are right and sometimes they aren't.

Fatherhood has been devalued in our society. Mostly by femenists who claim men are irrelivant. Though it hasn't helped that many fathers run away and become dead beat dads.

This country should adopt some kind of regulation on who is allowed to reproduce & limit the number of children depending on one's abilities to care for them.

If your argument is mothers not having enough brains to find responsible men for fathers, you also must understand that they too aren't mentally fit mothers because of their bad decision making & lack of common sence.

Well, Kevin wasn't a bad father to his other kids - so that is not true. Leaving Shar while she was pregnant just shows how he treats the women in his life but Britney overlooked that b/c she probably figured he wouldn't do that to her b/c she is "BritBrit". As for women in general, they probably think its the other woman and not the man. you know the baby's mother is just giving him a hard time because they are not together anymore. The guy makes it seem like its the mother's fault that he is not a better dad.

Because we women are a bit dumb at times. We think we can change a man. But we dont understand that a leopard doesnt change his spots.
But everyone makes mistakes. Its just human nature, on both sides.
Women also have this weird thing in their mind that makes them think they are 'the one' that will make the man stay. Every woman goes through this at some stage.

they think that they can change them. they think that he only did it to certain women or just one particular woman, but he would never do it to them. it is the same w/ promiscuous men and ones that cheat, women always think that he wouldn't do it to them. and most times the are wrong

Its a thing called hope, and its always the good girls who fall into the traps. These kind of girls fall in love with men who are garbage and bums. They feel like they can turn them into good men with a little edge and deal with all the negative for so long they realize he will never change, and end up broken hearted and with no self esteem, it happens so much. Many women marry men that they believe that with love and support 'can be improved.' Rarely happens. You'd be amazed how many women marry alcoholics hoping to fix them.

Why did Britney marry Kevin? She was in love with love. Reality didn't set in for some time.
