Why does my husband always delete his browsing history?

i delete my history and temporary internet files... cos they use up resources and need to be cleansed...

sounds like you are snooping cos you don't trust him... perhaps you need to take a long hard look at yourself...

Question is, are you constantly checking the history? Then that could be one of the reasons he deleting them. Cause you're snooping. Maybe.

Why are you checking his browsing the history in the first place?

Anyways, if he's deleting the history, try other places. Like the Internet Cache. Then, WindowsRecent Files.

I think you are a bit irrational. A lot of people clean out their history every time they use the Internet. It is a good practice for maintaining your PC.

Why do you really care so much he deletes it because you snoop. You should try trusting him first and why should he have to save everyhting he does ont he computer so you can search through his files like your in the fbi?

Maybe I'm naive, but how did you find out he does this in the first place? Personally, it would never occur for me to check my b/f's history. So what makes you want to know? Do you suspect him of something? Just being nosy? Does he want to know about your history?

Its not bad for the computer to have an accumulated history on your web browser. Its best to toggle it to delete it every 30 or 90 days. The bigger your history, the more room it takes up.

The nice thing about the history is to be able to find the places you have gone on the web.

well do you really have a reason to be noisy and check out what he does? Are you willing to give him your email passwords? Everyone deserves some level of privacy

well thats how it started out wth me. my husband would delete history then it progressed that he would use a different server when he played his online game then it progressed that he stayed on the computer all day and all the next morning. he only got off to use the bathroom and fix hisself something to eat on the days i didnt bring it to him. then on them days he ate while playing. he also only was off the puter to take me to town cause i didnt have my liscense at the time. he started checking his watch, asking what time it was, asking what day it was, then he got to where he didnt talk to me unless i insisted and it was only about the kids. he wasnt interested in nothing i would say. then he got headphones he said was for his game. while i was going to bed at night i heard him typing often and then one day his mic cover got a hole in it, use your imagination, then 1 day i noticed his what i call bussiness chair was broke on the left side and ripped the size of his private was. you use your imagination. yes i started suspecting him having online relations over three years ago. i observed and saw everyday cause i stay at home and draw a dissibility check, and he has been living off me. finally i broke down and cried for three days straight and told him that i knew which normally when i told him i knew i would get mad and it didnt faze him but this time i told him i wasnt mad about it anymore that i was deeply hurt and distraught. i told him he had broken my heart and gave a speech straight from my heart. i told him that i wasnt a million miles away that i was right here in front of him. i told him that i was getting a job and i was going to buy a spot of land and a trailer or a house. he said so your leaving me, i told him not at the moment cause i had nowhere to go but after i get somewhere to live if i felt like i needed to go then i was going but i was not leaving him for another man cause he loved me once and i know that no one else on earth can touch me the way he had and i was a one man woman and if he was a one woman man like he says then why dont he stop his online affair cause no one else on earth can love him the way that i do. i also told him that if he didnt have or could not love me wth all his heart and wth everything he has in him since he says he loves me then it was pointless for us to be together cause i was misserable being in his presence and knowing what i know. i said i would be happier being without him if this was the way that i had to live. i also told him that if he was in love i wanted him to go to her and he said he wasnt and i said if he ever found love that i wanted him to go cause it was a wonderful thing to be in love and he would be a fool if he didnt go. i dont exactly know what it was that got him but since then he loves on me and tells me he loves me, he talks to me, he wants to spend time with me. yes if hes delecting history just watch and observe, if he clicks everytime you come in the room hes clicking off a page but there will be a page under it he will think you dont know. trust your gut instinct cause your more than likely right. after all this wth my husband hes erased his harddrive, that says it all for sure to me. but i have three kids wth this man and i do love him, also been wth him for 16 years. you either work thru it or dont. yes i still have my days where i am so angry that he was wanting someone else and they whispered in each others ears and yes everyday my heart hurts. it made me so sick to my stomach that for a little over a year i puked almost everyday and sometimes several times within the day. since the talk in october of 2010 i now sale avon, am an sfi affiliate, and in march im going to apply at a employment agency which i have already done once at a different one, and i use the internet to try to find a job. hopefully i will land something good, that is where im going to spend most of my time so i can afford a spot of land and something to live in. if you suspect something, keep an eye out but change a few things about you, that means if hes cheating, hes not interested in you anymore so change some things and it will make him curiouse then he might start getting interested in you again, if not then just go on and seperate not unless you love him that much to put up wth it until you cant anymore like i did. wish you the best and the best advice im going to give you is learn about computers even if that means going back to college like i did. that way you will always know whats going on in your own home.
