I am not sure of your age, so I will do my best: Everyone and I mean everyone goes through this stage. We start out all hot and heavy then it dies off a bit, it is completely normal; however, maybe you lack confidence or may there is something you need to change so that passion can fill your heart again. I don't think it is unusual.
I have only been with my man 2.5 years and I am not all that keen on heavy making out either. That part seems to only last a few months in the beginning of the relationship. If you got it to last longer than that then you are rare.
