Why is my partner not there for me but is for friends and family ? is this love ?

Friends and family boost the ego and are less intimate. You are super close and personal and fear may play a role. Fear tends to be the base building block to many other issues that some of us like to call baggage. We get lazy and think by letting it go for another day just turns into years of cobwebs that at some point will need to be cleaned out. It's difficult to truly love anyone until our own canvas is clean. Find out what's bugging them and make your boundaries known and if your heart is still hearting than the possibility of moving on my be eminent.

(I assume yr partner is a he.it is also applicable to a 'she')Do you feel his heart is with you? Physical presence is not that important. He can be good to his friends and family may somehow reflect his strengths that you appreicate when falling in love with him. Is he good to yr family also? If so, it means he do love and respect you. He please yr family members for yr sake.

He obviously loves his family and friends and Im not sure that this means that he doesnt love you, but perhaps he places them before you. In my eyes family comes first, but with everyone else its different. Could it be that you put him before yours? If so, it could be the reason your getting so upset over this, but simply because you dont see eye to eye on this doesnt mean you cant work things out or in the least get an understanding on where you both are coming from with this issue. Try talking to him about exactly what bothers you. If he listens and reassures you of his love you might see that maybe your wrong about this. Either way a loving partner should always be there in your times of need, try to protect you from hurt and harm, as well as listen intentively when you vent. If you are doing this for your guy he should be doing equally onto you.

because he doesn't love you enough and respect you enough to focus on your attention. and he doesnt care that you know it, but he doesnt want his friends and family knowng what a douchebad he REALLY is, so pretends to be nice, when really he's just wants people to like him, not including you cause you'll be there either which way, right?

set boundaries. if they are not respected, move on. you deserve love and affection. and RESPECT. good luck.

If he is there with you at night and sleeps with you in the same bed and tells you how much he loves you and gives you hugs and kisses during the day, then he loves you.

If he is not there at all with you gone during the day and gone during the night, then maybe it is time for you to re-think your relationship.

Just talk to him, and tell him how you feel, it is important that you communicate with him and tell him how you feel, men and women are not mind readers, that is why it is so vital for both to communicate with eachother about things that are bothering them and hampering the relationship.

I don't know whether you are male or female. But if your partner is a guy, its not a big problem.Men are usually ruled by logic, so they think if they aren't helping you in any way, its no use staying at home or spending time with you. They love their buddy time and so like hanging out with friends. As for home, he is trained/ got into a habit of spending so much time with them. Your partner may not even understand why you need so much time with him. So be prudent.Don't cry, for he'll feel blamed and won't understand why you are making such a big deal out of it. Plan a lot of fun activities to do and praise him all the day. If you are living together, plan a day of cleaning, and pay him compliments throughout the day. There is a book called "Men are from Mars and women are from Venus". Read it if possible.

If your partner is a girl, you have reason to worry. Talk to her. If she refuses to give in, you better get ready for tough times ahead.
