Why is my plan not better?

i am 17 and my gf is 20. she pitched the idea of me moving in with her when i turn 18. that seemed cool until today when she told me how i would have to pay for bills and stuff, cleaning and everything you could imagine. we got into a discussion on whats best for us as a couple, after all, marriage is an eventual goal.
i asked this before, but not in this way. our 2 living options are
1) me move in with her and help her with the bills and stuff and yikes even food. her apartment is decent size, but defanitely way way smaller than the house me and my mom live in.
2) she moves in me when i am 18. my mom is pretty leanient and i know she would even give me the master-bedroom if i asked. this way, we both pay no bills until i am settled in my life, probably around age 26. we get a nice house that is paid for and maybe can even have a kid during this time.
there are the options. my mom is really liberal and i know she would not mind at all. i think our best option is 2.

Erk - you want your mommy to take care of you and your girlfriend!? How pathetic. If you think you're mature enough for a live-together relationship then be a man, move out and take care of your woman. If not, stay home with mommy and don't expect a self respecting woman to look twice at you.

Plan 3, you stay living at your moms and finish your education or get a job. You can't suuport yourself at this stage. This will very quickly put a burden on your girlfriend if you move in or she moves in. You have all the time in the world if you are truly dedicated to each other. |

Neither option is right.If you want to be a grown up then you have to act like one. Shame on you for even thinking about letting your gf move in with you and your mom and letting your mom foot all the bills. Grow up! Either you wait until you are eighteen and move in with your gf and get a job and help pay the bills and buy food or you stay home with mom along and stop playing ADULT. Beside a twenty year old woman is to old for you and what if she gets pregnant and then you will really have to get a job and pay the bills. You have to pay to play!!!! |

So you want to take advantage of your mo once you are 18. If it was for a few months I would understand but 8 years ir ridiculous. You should choose option 1 where you ge ta job and be responsible and share everything 50 / 50. To be honest if this is how you feel your GF needs to find a man not a child. |
