how young can a relantionship (girlfriend /boyfriend kinda thing) get to that level. ithink it would first start out controling and then get worse oh and when i say young i mean like about maybe 12 to 14 or something obviously older than that i know it's most likely to happen so yea thanx for partictipating!!

Fear of leaving. When I was told I would be killed if I left I believed it. One day I realized I had to take my chances... that was 4 years ago. I was with him for 12 years... for those who have not been there, you have no clue how hard it is to leave. I was afraid my girls would lose their mom... I moved out while he was at work with no prior packing or notice. The police later said if I had done it differently who knows what the outcome would have been. |

Out of fear some times. And, if they left who would take care of them. It is a cycle though with abuse. A girl or woman need to get out of the relationship. But, if they leave then they fear they will be hurt worse. It takes courage to finally leave. |

eople are crazy ...you know to get in the mind of people i always wondered that too...if a man Ever hit me......I would be gone but i guess it hasn't happened to me so i dunno me and this man dated for years had a kid never hit me bu his next girl got the **** beat outta her by him and she stayed?? I think some people just have crazy tempers andthey think about it the next day and are scared to be without the person....as soon as something goes wrong they start throwen it may be normal for them....i do not get it either |

no self worth, fear she can't find anyone else, if she has allowed him to abuse her she may begin to think the abuse is normal, could be she had been abused during her childhood. |

Look up Stockholm Syndrome. I feel that it is something like that when a female stays in an abusive relationship.
A lot of the time a woman will stay in that relationship because she is just so brow-beaten, that she has no self esteem or self respect left to get herself out.
It's sad, really. |

because she is insecure with herself and she has no love in her life or thinks she has nobody to love her so they look in all the wrong places to them if a man tells them what they want to hear that is all that matters if you are in one get out know please men who are abusers are insecure themselves and need to put there woman down to feel better about themselves and they only abuse woman if a guy came along and threatened them they will back off right away because they are cowards. |
