Wife wants to get a motorcycle, and then she will never see me. What do i do?

My wife and i purchased a 1981 motorcycle about 2 years ago, but I tried riding it, and i wasnt really into riding it. Now, my wife is thinking about trading that bike and paying $500 to her nephew for his bike. I said to her, i will ride the other bike, b/c i think i would like it more. She said no, its her bike. She said i had my chance to ride. We paid for the first one together. So now i guess i get to sit home all summer while she is out riding a motorcycle leaving me behind. What do i do?

Here is the problem, you want to share her bike. You don't like to ride, but she does. Now that she has left you out of the equation, YOU WANT TO RIDE, TWO YEARS LATER! You are trying to over step your bounds and share her hobby, something she likes to do alone. Plus, she might be thinking that you and her will have to share a bike and since you won't sit in the "b*tch seat" she won't be able to drive her own bike anymore.

Plus, what maintenance have YOU paid for or done in the last two years? If your wife has been riding and maintaining the bike for the last two years, IT IS HER BIKE! She is right, you had your chance to ride and you didn't like it. Why should your wife share the bike with you after two years? Especially if you didn't help maintain the bike.

What you have essentially done, is ask if you can go out with her and her friends on "girl's night out." The worst part is, that you expect your wife to entertain you all summer. Most guys would LOVE that their wife has her own hobby. It means the man gets alone time while the wife is away.

Instead of expecting your wife to entertain you all summer, why don't you get up off the couch AND DO YOUR OWN THING?! Get your own hobby, or use your alone time more wisely.

You had better get off the sofa and away from the computer and get interested fast or you are going to lose your loving wife to a Bad Boy who also shares her interests. Surprise her by going down to the local Harley Dealership and purchasing a Fat boy with the works on it. The payments are reasonable and she will think she has died and gone to heaven the first time she is snuggled up to you in her leathers while that Engine vibrates her into Ecstasy. Truly my friend. You have nothing to lose if you do this and everything if you don't/
