Women: Do you always want the man to take charge?
|
Additional Details Once in awhile, I'd like to just sit back, be pampered, and not have to think about what to do next...

Well considering I'm in charge of most of our "schedule," yes it would be nice if he would take charge now and then.
I wouldn't mind if he would plan out a weekend of activities, dinner at a place he knows I want to go (not where do you want to go), events, hotel, etc. No decisions, just pure pampering. Of course money is always a factor. But assuming that is there, I think most girls want to be taken care of. |

i don't wanna take charge, that's the guy's job. 90% of the time, he should take charge/be in control. |

Only in the bedroom. The rest I am very capable and even very good at spoiling my man! |

I want to co-captain our ship, but, my hubby just wants to be the slob, or is that swab? I feel mental fatigue from having to take charge of our little Titanic life. |

I'm a follower, not a leader. I'd much rather have my hubby in control. However I know a lot of women who want to be in control. |

A woman should know her place and know when to step in and take over. It's a turn on and appreciated by the man to proof she can. |

Um, no... variety is the spice of the bedroom... sometimes I like to be in total control and have the man at my mercy... sometimes I want him to make me beg for for what I want.. and other times, a mutually involved session is very tasty....
ooops, haha.. I had only considered this a bedroom Q, until I read JJ's answer and realized.. *blush*.. :) Um, outside of the bedroom, I like to make most decisions together. |

I'm a control-freak. I am always in charge. If not, my life feels all crazy. |

I think the benefit to having two strong, equally capable people is that either one can step up and take over.
There are many times I don't have any words left at the end of the day, or my brain goes into lockdown mode. The same is true for him, although thankfully, we usually don't find ourselves in this place at the same time! Our default is, shared responsibility, but we are fortunate that either one of us can step into each others roles, as necessary. We are effectively cross-trained. :) I can just as efficiently handle a tough negotiation, and he can just as easily manage a playdate with four six year olds who've eaten way too much candy!! :)
It works for us. |

Not always, but sometimes.
Additional: Wouldn't we all love to be pampered... |

man women actually want you to relax and they take charge , apart from giving you comfort , they know how to extract maximum pleasure which you are not able to give and they have to fake and use their "second husband" - the electronic one - after you have slept ! |

I am by nature, a "take charge" kind of woman. Some of that comes from my genetic makeup (my mother is very much that way also), and some of it comes from the time I spent as a single mother. I had to be in charge, or nothing got done. However, now that I am married, I try very hard not to be so forceful, for lack of a better word, with my assertive personality. I do feel that the man should be the head of the household, however, it's not always easy for me to do that. My big thing is that I do not want to emasculate my husband, or overshadow him. I try to be the behind the scenes driving force, if that makes sense.
Having said that, I do know how to take charge when necessary, and do so without him having to tell me. I know that being in charge is a big responsibility, and I try really hard for both of us to have an equal break from it once in awhile. |

I firmly believe a man is the head of his household. That is how God designed the family unit to be. My husband works hard and when he comes home I feel he should be able to sit back and be pampered, which I do with much appreciation. I don't work at the moment but I am in the process of going back to work. I hope to still be able to pamper him and let him know he is the king of the house. AND, please know he pampers me, also. He never fails to let me know I am his queen! |
