Ugh, I don't know why but at 31 hearing that I am a "mature woman" makes me cringe. It just makes me feel old...

To answer your question,
1. A JOB that pays more than mine (men are so insecure if the women they date make more)
2. A great sense of humor
3. Shows passion for the important things whether it be life, children, or me -- NOT the couch and the television.
4. Loyalty and honesty
5. Even if he's not a pretty boy, a woman always appreciates a man who takes care of himself . It doesn't cost much to stay healthy and clean.

bull$hit all women over 30 or 40 yrs old want is a man with a crap full of money, and who would want a woman in her 40`s, shes all worn out by that time. there's not to many men looking for old women.why do you think there so many different, age defiant makeup on the market for women? not for you to look older, but for old women to look younger!.

I'm 32... I'm MOST attracted by an awesome personality, which is closely followed by a physical chemistry. Nothing works without chemistry.

EDIT: Also, I was really attracted to my husband because he had a great personality, chemistry AND he followed through. He called when he said he call, he showed up when he was supposed to. He put me as his first priority, but wasn't smothering in anyway.

After I divorced at 43, I wanted to find a man FAR different than my ex, so that meant a man who knew how to have fun.
When I met my new hubby, we laughed all the time, and we loved to go places and find fun in everything we did. He holds my heart because we laugh so much.

I like a shy, quiet guy. And other common things like kindness, brain, nice smile. But for some reasons, sometimes there is no reason. I just feel attracted.

A smiling face, clean shoes and clothes, smells nice and clean, and a couple of ideas for where to go on a date that isn't a pub. Also he should be financially independent (does not need to be rich at all, just breaking even and just not requiring any of MY money!) If he has to refer to his ex wife he should not be calling her names, or start to sneer when he talks about his ex marriage.
