It takes a long time to learn to walk well in high heels. Get him to go for some really high ones, pop some popcorn, and enjoy the show.
Seriously, what can you do? Make peace with it, and find a silver lining. It will be funny, I bet!! ;) |

Honestly if you love him then all you can do is deal with it. Just let him know that it really does bother you and you would prefer him not to do it. But if its going to cause an argument I would just drop it and let him be. Because hes going to do it behind your back anyways.
Good luck! |

sounds like he wants to take his feet fetish to the next level. talk to him and see what are his true intentions on buying his own heels.. what is so appealing about it to him? get to the bottom of things because you deserve to know for your own sake and marriage.. good luck :) |

It's a personal freedom you should let him express.
It wasn't a huge surprise, I wouldn't think. You knew of his fetish previously. |

I suppose if it's been a long standing personal interest, it's a bit unusual but fine. But if his behavior is changing or the degree of his fetish is expanding, then you might want to really talk about it more. |

Well, I do know for a fact that there is a shoe fetish that guys can have. It's more on woman though, it would freak me out a little, but if he is secure with his masculinity then I guess let him do his thing, when he starts dressing like a chick or making you dress like a dude, then it's time to bounce! |

You have to assume that he has already done this and is just now sharing his desire with you because he trusts you with his deep dark intimate secret.
Tell him that you are uncomfortable with it, BUT if it is something he is strongly desiring, that you would try it. Who knows? Once he tries it with out he might not like it anymore and viola, end of story.
If it starts to bloom into other disturbing behavior, seek counciling together. |

Make sure he gets a purse to match, you know us guys can't dress properly.
Actually, he sounds a bit freaky.I would be seeing a BIG red flag! |

Don't nag him about it. Keep inviting guests over. |

Sounds like he is blooming into a tranny. |

Tell him that's fine, but that you're going to take a pic of him in his high heels and - if he ever gets out of line - you're going to post it on the net and email it to his boss. |

Remember your marriage vows, for better or worse, fin "sickness" and in health.
I think this lies in between the both of them somewhere. |

I honestly don't see what your problem is.
They are just shoes. He wants to see how they feel. It is you who is terming them 'women's shoes' - that's a label society has put on them.
Underneath it all this is the man you married, the man you love. Presumably he is kind and thoughtful, generous with his money and time, loving and a generally nice person. So what's the issue if he wears high heeled shoes?
I have know transvestites who make loving husbands and fathers but like to dress up occassionally. I have known church going conservatives who go home and beat up their wives after boozing on friday night. I know which I would rather have. What somone puts on their outside is of no consequence it is what is on the inside that counts.
Count your blessings, you have a good man. What a pity you don't have the same shoe size.....you could share! |

I understand fetishes i mean i know a guy with a foot fetish. But buying shoes is a little creepy not gonna lie. I saw let him get one pair he starts getting more time for a talk |

if my husband popped that out with me, well, there's really nothing i can do about it. as much as i think there is something wrong with it, it's his preference and just as long as things don't go beyond that, I'll just live with it like you. to make it better just think about it this way, it's like your buying guy boxers to wear instead of cute panties because you like guys in boxers.
ps. i would just make sure he wears them only around the house when there are no company over. Good luck sweetie... |

I think when you look at any mental issue or fetish, you need to look at who else is this affecting. He wants to wear them around the house, not out, so the only person it culd potentially affect is you. And I assume his footwear in the past around the house in no way affected you before. The only issue is your discomfort. Provided all these conditions are true, I think you need to embrace that your husband has a slightly weird fetish (although it isn't that uncommon). I know it may be tough but I think your relationship will improve because of it. |

1 pair of shoes or maybe even a few pairs I could deal with but if we both started shopping at Victoria's Secret-then we have a problem. |

On one hand, I would say that since he's not really causing any harm then let him do what makes him comfortable.
But on the other hand, while this may not be a huge deal it may turn into something more. If you think he would go to counseling with you then I would suggest doing that just so that you can talk to him openly about your concern about the possibility of his fetish getting out of control.
If it were me I would probably try to deal with it and actually make it fun. Maybe you can wear high heels around the house with him. If you like to dance the two of you could dance together while in your heels. That way it could be like a little inside joke or secret that just the two of you know about. It seems like he has it under control to the point where he is just doing this indoors and not going out in public in women's shoes. If it makes you feel more comfortable then join in. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em and since you really love each other just remember that there are much worse things he could be doing. Hope this helped :) |

Break off the heels. There is a limit and if you do not stop it here, then it may get worse. Ask him where this is to lead. Give him a lot more head and swallow - without be asked. |

Sounds like you man has some issues. You really should talk to him about it. He may just really be into shoes and that's fine, but if he is implying in any way that he might be interested in wearing women's clothes, or anything else of that nature then you need to take a step back and really evaluate your relationship. Maybe he just has a really crazy shoe fetish..if you are okay with it that's all that matters. |

Talk to him. Most guys that I've met like this is suffering from a gender identity problem, talk to him about how he is feeling when he is wearing woman's shoes. In my anthropology class we learned that there are 4 genders: male-male, female-female, male-female, and female-male. He could be male-female. I know this sounds weird but look in an anthropology book, or google it. |
