if my husband wanted to watch tv, and i said he wasnt allowed, i really hope that i would have picked a man intelligent enough to tell me i was completely crazy.
if i picked a man that wanted to go to a strip club, i pray to god he would be the type to make sure i came too!
i love going to strip clubs with my boyfriend. we drink, have fun, make friends.

but if my husband only wanted to watch tv all day instead of having other hobbies, i wouldnt be married to him for long anyway

Same thing...it's not an issue of "let". The guy can't be stopped if he wants to go. She can express the desire that he not go, she can threaten him with consequences, but unless she physically restrains him, she cannot stop him from going (or "not let" him go).

Trying to prohibit behaviors in adults, typically ends up in the adults participating in the behaviors behind "your" back.

My husband can go to a strip club or bar without me however if he wants to have a happy marriage he needs to consider how many things he does without me. He rarely watches tv without me unless I'm at school which in case he's watching the kids and can't leave the house. We don't go out without each other though...its called respect..watching tv is not disrespectful unless there is something else you want to do and he's ignoring you which in that case the issue isn't the tv.

He can go, I could care less. He can look at the menu all he wants but he better come home to eat. I don't mind if he goes for a beer after work, the same as he can't do a damn thing about it if I decide to do the same. As long as our kids are always taken care of and we get about the same amount of "free time", it's a give and take.

I said I allowed him to watch tv as long as my shows aren't on. I also allow him to go to the strip club without me. Huh...guess everyone thinks I'm weird now. Oh well.

My answer to the question was HUH? but in defense of the ones that said the "he is a grown man...." thing. That's a set up. Yes my husband can watch tv when he wants. No he can't go to the strip club--that's a matter of respect. Don't do things that I don't do. We're not hypocrites, we want to keep our marriages in tact.

TV is in the comfort of your own home and if you are there it can be a moment for the two of you and it is just that..a picture tube...strip clubs..negative different atmosphere I don't need another woman to excite my baby, that is my place and also that is not his thing..I can do what a stripper does at home so he does not need that ..as far as the bar he doesn't drink..as far as cheating you can not stop a man from doing that so I am never concerned with that bc if a man wants to cheat he will regardless of the leash that you think you have him on..but my thing is never open the door for the devil to destroy your family..if he wants to destroy mine he has to put up a hell of a fight bc it won't be easy..we are a team in my house..

I trust my man to go to a bar without me but he dosent want to go unless im there... And he can go to a strip club if he wants to but he just dont want to..I think its healthy for a man and a women to have there own time to spend with friends and fam.... I trust him 100 percent
