yes because I'm living it right now. I have been since I got laid off back in 08' and I have I can't get a job. Yeah, i'm getting unemployment, but her salary is what keeps up afloat. I'm waiting for the sheriffs department to call me for my background check and hopefully I pass (i should, my record is clean) and off to the Academy I go. Until then its the wife running the show. I, of course, am playing my part we have a 3 yr old so I an Mr. mom, I have been with her so at least one of us is raising her, not just some strangers. |

I wouldn't have a problem being the sole provider as long as my husband was taking over household duties and child care and he should also be giving his whole disability check. He is not so disabled that he cannot do anything, he has blindness in one eye (not really sure how severe) he did drive with this disability until he didn't bother to get his license renewed. He has no sense of responsibility at all. He has a few medical bills as little as $3.00 and won't pay them. He has started contributing $300.00 as of November still not his whole check, all my salary goes to our bills and keeping a roof over our head but, he gets to do whatever he wants with his money. I come home from work and my house is a mess, he doesn't clean up after himself or our son. He allows our son 7 years old to watch Family Guy and South Park and to walk around the corner and up the street to his friends house. I work nights and come home early morning and my husband will sleep all day. This is my time to sleep I worked last night and have to go back to work and he is sleeping. I end up not getting the sleep I need because I end up taking care of our sons needs because Daddy won't wake up and yells at him.
