Your significant other went to a party with his/her friends, they saw an ex, they didn't exchange too many words just a hello, how have you been, etc. The ex still has feelings for your significant other so the ex tries to hit on them by asking for the phone number but your significant other says they don't have one. Obviously your significant other is very loyal to you and does not want to interfere with their ex. Well, as the night is ending your significant other is a little drunk, and as they go on saying bye to whoever they know at the party, they say bye to their ex as well, giving them a hug, and as they are hugging each other good bye, the ex gives your significant other a kiss on the cheek!!
Your significant other realizes what their ex is trying to do and walks away...
Your significant other is kind of scared to tell you because they know you are going to question why you would give an ex a hug to begin with. You and your significant other are a little different, you don't EVER interfere with your ex's again even if you see them at a party because you do not care if you hurt them by not saying hi, while your significant other does not hate anyone not even their ex so a simple good bye hug doesn't mean anything to them...
Would you be mad if this happened to you? If you found out your significant other's ex hugged and kissed them on the cheek? Please help, this happened to me and I am so scared to tell my boyfriend!! I know he's going to get SO mad because I gave him a hug back.

Obviously your bf wants you and not the other girl, because he didn't push the limit. He could of gone with the other girl but didn't. He could of kissed the other girl back and again didn't. So at some point you should trust your bf, or your going to loose him.
