I have not dated in about two years and have no intention of doing so again. I am not very attractive and those feelings have only been exacerbated by the calibre of girls I was able to attract: in the past, I was only able to attract desperate girls who would date just about anyone. There is no way to change what I hate about my looks and since I refuse to date someone just to be dating (I found that dating the girls I did actually had a negative effect on my life, similar to having to entertain guests who decide to stick around for a whole month).
That said, I have decided not to bother with dating in the future. Its tough because I am the first to admit that I am very lonely; however, I want to know if any of you think you're better off single than when you were dating, or if you sometimes wish you were single rather than put up with your current mate.

I'm surprised you got anyone to date you with your attitude and maybe this is why your relationships haven't worked out.
But to answer your question. I would rather be single than be with someone just for the sake of it. |

there is someone for everyone no matter what u look like! giving up on love is not the answer or u will stay lonely forever. women arent all shallow and dont just go for looks alone. i think you need some confidence in yourself and aim for girls u like rather than who is there at the time. being singleis good for a while but not long term. good luck, i hope u find your confidence |
