From what I've seen, children that are half and half races are some of the most beautiful children in the world. Freedom of inter-racial marriage is what makes the world we live in a better place. It promotes peace, and shows the rest of the world that in reality, everyone is the same on the inside. Love is blind to color. |

I...Um....WOW. um... Ok, why should it be about race? Ask yourself honestly, which would you prefer, your daughter to marry an honest, financially secure, family oriented, caring, and devoted black man? Or a poor, wife beating, alcoholic, drug addict white man?
If you say a financially secure caring white man then you really do have a problem because I did not offer you that option. Answer the question honestly and you will not see race anymore. You will see you really should only want what is best and happiest for your daughter.
Drop the stereotype image you have in your head and see people for who they are individually.
What makes my opinion so special? I married a woman who already had three children of her own that I raise as mine. We make enough money that our children has had 4 trips to Disneyworld and Universal studios in the past 5 years, and I recently took my wife on a 2 week vacation to the U.K. while our children went on a cruise around Florida. We own our own home paid for by both our hard work and dedication. For her part, she is a hotel manager. For my part its the type of dedication that you get from serving in the Armed Forces which comes with a unique position of knowing what bullets sound like when they fly past your head (kind of like really big mosquito's). Finally I am pretty sure I am educated enough to not have too many spelling and grammatical errors in this rant. So what does race have to do with that?
So what race are we?
My wife is white with white roots. I get my looks from my Hispanic father, my mother is daughter to a black man and a white woman, I was born in the U.S. but was raised in a different country (currently living back in the U.S.).
Actually, that is a good question, what race am I because I really do not know?!

OMG we have a african american/Caucasian PRESIDENT!! its not the 1920's. You should accept whoever your kids marry! as long as they are good people it doesn't matter. So it would be sad to see a healthy mixed race grandchild?WTF!!!!!! |

I wouldn't be able to not LET them. It would be their decision. And I would support them full fledged. Half of my family would not be invited to my wedding if I ever married someone of a different race, because they're ignorant and not accepting of people that simply have a different skin color than themselves. Its ridiculous.

Of course. I would let my son or daughter marry whomever made them happy. I think that race should be celebrated. Its beautiful that we're different. I also think racism should be destroyed, it is sick and wrong. There is only one race. The human race. Not to sound preachy. |

yes most definately. I have 4 mixed children and they are such blessings. I don't care who my kids marry as long as that person treats them good. To me it doesn't matter what color they are we are all children of god. |

There are many mixed race children in the united states and some go on to become President of the United States when they grow up. Can you think of any examples? |
