What a ridiculous question I was 21 when i got engaged to my fiance who is 22 and when we get married I will be 22 and he will be 23,
I know exactly what i want from my life and age does not stop you from being completely and utterly in love with someone and knowing that you want to spend the rest of your life with them. |

Why wouldn't you unless of course your 12 or something! |

If they were very mature and ready for marriage, yes I would. |

My husband did (I was 21, he was 25). It really depends on the individual person and their maturity level. |

No, I am 30. I never really knew who I was as an individual until after I turned like 29. I will now end up divorced because people change so much between 21 and a grown adult with wisdom and self-esteem. |
|

Leidy
|
why not? |

Historically speaking, 21 is really young to be getting married. However, kids these days are growing up and maturing a lot faster than when I was that age.
It really comes down to your particular situation.
Are both of you ready to commit? Are you currently living together? If not, do you think marriage will make it easier?
Lots of different scenarios on this topic. Good luck with your experiment. |

I don't think I would. Of course, it depends on your culture, but I think it's a little young. It may work out, don't get me wrong. But I learned in Psychology class that your personality changes when you're a young adult, due to changes in occupation (school to work), moving out on your own, growing self-confidence, etc. So marrying a 21-year old means not necessarily being married to the same person 10 years later. |
