Immature. Unprepared for life. Has no life problem solution skills. Doesn't like problems, trials and confrontation. Can't think things through properly. Doesn't think he's man enough to take care of the problem. Never given a chance to solve problems with the help and guidance of his dad. Reared by a single mother who didn't have a clue as to how to properly rear a son to world improving, marriage supporting maturity.
As you can see, there could be any number of reasons or combination of reasons thereof. Oh, and the list is not complete. These are just a few of the possibilities.
Time to get some help (before the next problem arises). And, while you're at it, be sure that you do not denigrate him in any way or it will drive him further underground and truly out of the marriage. He is salvageable but it will be hard work.
Don't go it alone, get some professional help. They will help you learn how to best approach him before problems arise and determine what the plan of action will be in the event of such and such event or problem. That way, he will gain confidence and so will you.

Everyone has immaturity within ourselves and it may be shown in a lot of ways. They say that we love the one who's a reciprocate of us coz there's something we need to learn from our partner, thus, if he's immature and you're not, you do the action, and HELP him to face the trouble, you BOTH work as a partner. LOOOOOOONG patience and RIGHT understanding. TALK to him nicely at the right time. |
