Facebook hasn't ruined ANY marriages or relationships. PEOPLE ruin marriages and relationships. Facebook is just a tool. |

I really like Mrs. B's answer that's why I gave her a thumbs up.
On another note to add to her answer: Facebook is just a tool. It cannot ruin anything. Being a social networking tool, it makes it easier to see what's going on with the spouse or significant other. It puts everything out there for anyone to see (privacy controls aren't private. I'd get on my ex's page through a mutual female friend he was trying to sleep with and saw ALL of his infedelities online). If someone is dumb enough to leave a trail like that, then they are too dumb to be in and enjoy a real relationship. |

I told my "boyfriend" that I wanted to break up on a Friday. We didn't talk all weekend which was utterly unusual. That Monday I changed my relationship status to "It's complicated", as we hadn't confirmed the break-up, but I had already told him what I wanted & ignored him for 3 days to drive the point home.
Well - after he saw that, he called me up & "made it really easy for me" by breaking up w/me. LOL.
So, in my case - I wouldn't say it was ruined...as that's what I had already wanted!! I just used FB to get it. |

Don't feel bad man even the extremely uncool john tesh recognized facebook as the number 1 place for spouses to meet those to whom they will have affairs surpassing bars and actual dating sites as well as the work place. It just happened to my dad. Six years with this woman and her two kids, got engaged and bought a 4 bdrm house and then she took off for her friend on facebook. He is destroyed both emotionally and now financially. It is happening all the time anymore |

well actually, my relationship with my boy friend ended in facebook, he broke up with me telling everyone on facebook that i broke his heart. He has alot of pictures with him and girls, whining up on each other, but if i did something like that he would of gotton jealous. It has allowed me to see that he is insecure. |
