Well, I have to go with Absence makes the heart grow fonder. I have only seen my husband 4 days in the last 3 months (for work), and The more I think about him, the more I can't wait to be with him. We have only been married 10 months, but have been together 11 yrs. I love him so much, I just can't wait to see him on Friday. But I guess it depends on how much you are in love. |

A healthy relationship is no doubt "absence makes the heart grow fonder." My husband and I survived two years of a long distance dating relationship, and honestly that made our time together even more precious. Even now, I can't wait for him to return home from work to appreciate the man he is. |

Well, truly neither are correct. Any relationship has ups and downs, a great line of communication and a partner as appreciative of the relationship as you are can keep the heart fond during absence, but everyday life goes on and out of sight out of mind will occur. Relationships need to be grounded in reality, Disney didn't script your life. |
