should i get a divorce?

I have been with my husband since i was 16 and he 17 i'm now 25 married with 2 kids and very unhappy .... there is alot to say about my husband that isn't good but it comes down too he's never really been there for me at all it was a fight just to get him to go to my grandmas funeral but anyways yesterday my 7 year old told me somethings that he said that are not good so now he's talking bad about me to my kids i'm very upset even with everything that he has said or done or in many cases not done i've never ever said anything bad about him to our kids he make me sick he is a lier and i'm not sure i can take anymore I know its really up to me and me alone if i get divorced or not but anything you have to say will help thanks

Yes, you should get a divorce. You've outgrown each other, and it's only a matter of time before one of you does something really hurtful like commit adultery. Probably him, it usually is.

He clearly has no respect whatsoever for you, and you've lost that loving feeling. Time to say bye-byes to him!

If and when you do get divorced, be very careful not to fall into a rebound relationship; they make things worse if and when they fail, which they usually do. Take time alone with the kids and 'remember' yourSELF; it should be very life-affirming and a whole heap of fun too.

Good luck; hurry up and do something, otherwise suddenly you'll find you're 30, and then 35, and it'll all have been a waste of time, hanging around when love and respect have long gone.

Your 7 year old could blame himself for providing you these facts. Children tend to blame themselves whenever these things happen. Be careful if you proceed with a divorce.

My take is that you should insist on counseling for the two of you. If he is not open to it, you won't have much choice.

whether you get a divorce or not, you still have kids together, so you have to think about them first. try talking it out with him, maybe go to a marriage counselor if you think it's necessary, if nothing's working out you should divorce.

He never really been there for you but you continued to have kids with him now the kids are stuck with a sorry father that you picked for them!!!! You can get divorce but he will always be a thorn in your side!!!!
