Recently I broke up with my fiancé after we have been together for almost 4 years. I left him not because I stopped loving him but because of what was happening. He is 9 years older than me and the best communicator ever. He is clever and all that
The problem is that I didn’t feel equal to him although am well educated I have done my masters. He keep criticizing me on everything the way I do things and how I speak. I never won an argument with him because he think logically and I think emotionally. When he gets upset he says thing that really hurt me and then say sorry. He call me names and says that I don’t know how to wear cloths and he is doing me a favor by marrying me and I don’t have achievement in life like he does. When I ask why he says such thing his answer is I wanna make u a better person coz u don’t know ur self. Next to him I feel like am a 12 years old. I lost my self confidence
Now although I left him I still think about him specially after he contacted me saying he wanted to make sure that am ok and I hardly spoke to him. One month after his msg I sent him an email saying that he was my friend and I would like to ask about him between once and a while. His answer was shocking he said this “u may contact me anytime but only for important matters. I'm not really interested in general conv. I'm not mad at u; just dong find it decent to keep in touch with u anymore. I hope u too will respect this next time”
I was like why he contacted me at the first place !!!!!!!!!

He sound's abusive and controlling. Love is about bringing someone up and not down. You should never lose self-confidence in a relationship, it should be the opposite - it should grow. Try doing a search on cluster B personalities disorders. Narcissistic comes to mind. No contact with this man is best. He will never be the man you hoped he would be. You know yourself - he doesn't! Be strong. |
