I have a 40 contract for my mos (42f). I am not sure I quite understand it, I mean will I go to ranger school? My recruit said it is a tryout and placement for 75th Regiment, but what does that mean?

I am kinda scared itll be hard to pass, when I was 17 I enlisted out of high school and didn’t make it out of reception and had to get an ELS I failed the PT (poor upper body strength) and couldn‘t be shipped down range, it took two month to approve my RE3 to wavier, I am now 22 and in a lot better shape. I can do 60 push-ups, 80 sit-ups in two minutes run 3 miles in 25 minutes is this enough for airborne/rangers?

you basicly want to shoot for 100 push ups 100 sit ups and 3 mile run is good...but dont stop running...a good work out that i was doing for seals...before i found out i was color blind was....

go to a high school track....

do 400 push ups in sets once finished with one set (try to make out your sets everytime)...run a lap around the standard high school track (1/4th a mile) and then continue with your sets....

same thing with sit ups -400 in sets....then run 1/4th of a mile...shoot for 90 seconds on the lap around the track....or less if you can do it

its a tought work out but it will definatly help you out alot...as you will see improve ment...now

you can do 150 pull ups if in sets...if you can find a spot to do pull ups...i always just went to the gym adn did 150 pull ups after that......

sooner or later youll lower your 3 mile run time...and youll be able to do alot more push ups/ sit ups if you max out every set.... (feel free to take breaks between sets when you first start...as you will need it) its a really tough work out if you can do it.... and MAKE SURE YOUR CHEST TOUCHES THE GROUND AND YOUR HEAD IS STRAIGHT LOOKING FOWARD...or thoes push ups wont count when your in
