55th EOD, Fort Belvoir?

So I have a Soldier of mine going to 55th EOD at Fort Belvoir, reporting in May. I have looked and made calls for the past two weeks, and no one, to include the the Fort Belvoir MPD, knows who this unit is, nor how to contact them. I have found very little information, and none of it helpful to this Soldier. If any ones knows anything more than "It's Fun" or "Good Unit", it would be greatly appreciated!

I was stationed at that unit 6 months ago the number you need to call is 703-806-6019 that is their 24 hour always manned phone number. is your soldier EOD or a support MOS?? depending on that i can tell you if the soldier will like it there or not, no one knows about the 55th EOD because it has been going through alot of changes for the past 3 years. |
