A Marine recruiter told me about this position...but...?

He was at my school and asked me what I was interested in, I answered photography and he said there was a job in the Marine Corps for that...as in, I could take pictures on what the actual Marines do on their jobs and that would b MY job. It sounded interesting but I want to know what the actual name of such a job is, if this is available in other military branches, and if I would STILL have to talk to a recruiter for this?

In the Australian army they have photographers. It is a good way to get training and experience if you like the military lifestyle. If you want to be a photographer it would be a good way to go about it as you get to use a wide variety of techniques and equipment plus you get paid.

You would be probably be given the position of photographing on-site corpses in middle of a war zone.
