A question about enlistment bonus.?

I have completed OSUT and Airborne School and I am currently am Ft. Bragg waiting to start SOPC then SFAS. I arrived here on April 17 and we turned in our packets and the S1 told us that we would have our bonus in 10 days and I was wondering if that is true. Some guys I went to OSUT and Airborne School with but who went to the 82nd received theirs in 5 days. I was just wondering if I will receive my bonus because I want to pay all my bills off before I start SFAS so that I will not have to worry about my bills while going through training. Thank you in advance for your answers

Does it appear on your LES before you get it and is it always on a pay day or could it be on any day?

10 business days is the standard time period given for receiving most monetary supplements in the military. You could get it earlier, but do not count on it.

Processing time through DFAS for enlistment bonus' can be time consuming depending on the finance office of your unit. You should go to finance and work with them to see when your S1 turned in your forms to them for processing.
