A question about the battle of Attu during WW2?

i need to know what the campaign to retake Attu was called. anyone know?
such as "Operation Overlord" was to retake France.

Attu operation (code-named SANDCRAB)

The site is a good account of the Aleutian Islands War.

What I remember is that it was the Aleutian Islands Campaign - and it was a diversion (of a sort) for the main Midway Battle which was fought a few days later. I'm sure the guys on Attu didn't think it was a diversion, however.

All this action as in May and June of 1942.
