HI, i need help with the bases for the dream sheet, anybody has any comment about the best bases to live of base?

For stateside locations you might want to put down:
Pheonix, AZ (Luke AFB) - real estate is CHEAP right now, should be easy to buy. You can never go wrong with real estate in the long term.
Tacoma, WA (McChord AFB, WA) - really nice place to live on or off base. If you live off base look in Thurston County, Olympia or Lacey, (south of base) commute is about 30 mins but property and taxes are cheaper than Pierce County (where the base is.) You can also look in Spanaway or Puyallup (Puyallup traffic is worse than if you lived in Olympia or Lacey.)
Panama City, FL (Tyndall AFB) - only put this if you have no kids, this place is party central in the spring and summer but tends to get quite from Nov - Feb. Base has it's own private beach that doesn't get too crowded. Make sure you don't rent or buy in Calloway though, it has a paper mill that REEKS.
Ft. Walton Beach, FL (Eglin or Hurlburt Field AFB) - Eglin is huge and has a major support infrastructure and Hurlburt Field was just named the best AF installation in the world. |

Well you really need to know what your AFSC is gonna be.
Otherwise your just wasting your time.
Why list a base you can never be assigned to, because they do not have your AFSC at that base ? |

a lot depends on what you like to do. I pride myself at "blooming where I'm planted" (I had a blast at Offutt AFB NE and Kunsan)
