my arm span is 5' 2" and from my collar to my waist is 2' 4" about how many feet of burlap do i need to buy to cover body. (front and back)

If you need to cover your body, we need to know how tall you are. We also need to know how fitted you want it to be. Is it just going to be a bag or are you turning it into clothes? It also depends on the width of the burlap. How big around is your chest? Your hips? Your waist? Your shoulders? What is the width of the burlap?
If your arm span is 5'2, then generally your height is the same. If the burlap is a standard 45 inch wide, then probably 2 yards (six feet), if you run the burlap vertical rather than horizontal. The extra is for seems and such. Unless you are bigger around than 40 inches. I assume you won't be covering your head.
If you are making something fitted, like pants and a shirt or something, then at least double that. |

Well, since arm span equals height more or less I'd say you need 5'2" for the front and 5'2" for the back. Try 10'4".
Simple math really. |
