I'm 17 and have been thinking about joining the marines for a while now. does anyone know about aplying to join the marines or about training. i would like any info you have..

First you need to speak to a recruiter about joining the Marine Corps. If you are eligible to join the USMC, you have a choice of going active/reserve, your choice of MOS (depending on availability of the MOS and your composite score for the ASVAB), and the initial physical requirements that recruiters want you to pass. The training during boot camp is 90% mental and 10% physical. Drill Instructors will training you and push you to the limit. Making a Marine out of a civilian. Good luck and Semper Fi. |

The training is hard but well rewarding, You have to be mentaly and physicaly fit, it's a great experience |

Well depends where you live but go see a Recruiter in the Recruits Office, look up the local ones via Google.
Show up early, get your haircut, make a good impression, etc.
Training is called MCRT (Marine Corps Recruit Training), and if your physically fit, you should be decent enough to go.
Not much more info I can give you, google it mate. |
