Acne in the military?

I have acne and I'm leaving to basic 2 months from now. I have to use a prescribes topical medication morning and night, and if I skip more than 1 whole day of using either, I will get crazy breakouts and look ridiculous. What will be done when I'm at basic? Will I just have to deal with it? Thanks

Take your medicine and a letter from your doctor with you to Basic. You will have to go on sick call and have an Army doctor write you a new prescription before they will let you use any prescription medicines.

If it's prescription medication for a genuine medical condition you should be able to use it. I would suggest loading up, let the doctor see your orders if you must.

And yes, you will get "singled out," but everyone else is being picked on for something. Of course, try to keep it to yourself, don't make yourself extra special in front of the instructors. Everyone has something embarrassing they have to deal with, don't make a big fuss of it.
