After Looking at some of my bros questions on here?

I have been looking at the Navy pretty intensely, look at some of these careers he was talking about, they look like its a lot of fun. I have been a Navy kid my entire life, ive lived all over the world and I have never viewed the navy this way, There are some questions.
Can someone give me a rating, on a scale form one to ten for these questions:
how "fun" is Boot Camp
How hard is it
how rewarding is it.
and please answer these questions if you could
what ratings would you recommend (at your leisure, I don't like jobs where I do paperwork all day)
What is life like on a ship
and finally,
Im over weight, im 80 pounds overweight but im at about 28% body fat, and I have about a 6 months until I will even be able to leave my home and join (im 17 who graduated high school, my dads rule is that if any of us were to join the military, we were to do so after our 18th bday ). if I were to go to the recruiter, will they be able to guide me into a right diet and exercise plan to help me loose weight (im not going to be dependent but I have a hard time making time for stuff like this and so maybe I need a little guidance Additional Details I would ask my Dad for help but he is always gone on travel.

-Boot camp is not mean to be "fun" I would give it about a 2 on a 1-10 scale. There will be times where you will like the stuff you do and times where you really start to re-think having signed on that dotted line. It is not overly hard but it is somewhat challenging at times. They will attempt to push you until you think you can't do it and then push you some more. When you finish, it will all be worth it and you will feel proud marching in front of your family on graduation day.
-As for a rating that you would like, not many are rates where you would sit behind a desk all day. You would wanna stay away from yeoman, PS, and shopkeeper because those would be about the only ones that have a lot of desk work. You could go into just about any job that you could do on the outside, from electrician, to working on planes, to driving boats or master-at-arms. If you look on about.com you can find a list of all the ratings and then come back and ask a specific question about a few jobs you are interested in.
-For the weight issue...Yes your recruiter should be able to help you with diet and exercise. You can be in the delayed enlistment program for up to a year before going to boot camp. During that time you should be meeting with your recruiter for PT and if you ask I am sure he could help you to get in better shape. He will give you a guideline for what exercises you could do between the time you sign up and the time you leave to help you be prepared for boot camp. Not all recruiters will just do this automatically but you can always ask for extra help if you feel you need it. You don't need to sign up in order to go talk to a recruiter. Bring your mom or a friend with you that you trust and talk to them a bit first without signing anything. Hopefully when your dad gets back you can bring him along to talk to them. If he says you need to wait, then wait. In the mean time maybe he will agree to let them help you to get ready without signing the contract.
-Life on a ship I cannot really comment about. I hear that you either really love it or hate it. Usually people like it. It is a lot of hard work but they say it is all worth it.
Hope this answers your question for you.
