Air Force BMT TI's Callback?

Is it true that there is a shortage of TI's and that many are being called back for another term as a TI (against their wishes), and as a result there could be some really, really pissed off TI's that people in the near future will have to suffer through? Any truth to this?

Sort of,

There is a shortage of TI's,

But they are calling back former TI's for just short periods of time on TDY ( temporary duty assignment )

To relieve current TI's when they go on leave or to an NCO school.

They are not calling back former TI's and making them TI's again for the 3 years assignments.

So actually it could work out in your favor, since most people like going on short TDY's.
