If Demjanjuk wasn't Nazi, why does the news say he was? Wouldn't that put suspicion on the whole case?

Yep! But those nasty water-boarding guys who were interrogating terrorists aren't accused of being an accessory to killing 29,000 people are they? Also, Demjanjuk is Ukrainian and considered an untermensch (Inferior race) by the Nazis. He did what he did out of sheer cruelty.

Every time something as insignificant as waterboarding a known terrorist to get important intelligence gets put on the same level as Nazi genocide, it trivializes the Holocaust simply to make a stupid, left-versus-right political statement. Not even close. "Waterboarding" someone does them no physical harm and is not a war crime. "Just following orders" is not a valid excuse according to the courts. |

er, no. The fellers condoning water boarding did not execute millions without cause. I find it horrendous that people make unfounded comparisons with Nazi criminals every time they disagree with someone. |

There is a differnce in the way the Axis powers did this. They were not questioning people who had knowledge of attacks or had planned an attack that killed 3000 innocent people. The Nazis were killing people that they had deemed inferior. Would you make excuses for the Klan because the Nazis did it? |
