Find answers to your legal question.

Alright, let me clear this up. Obviously most of you can't comprehend my question regarding my NGB form 22.?

I posted a question about my NGB form 22 and what my characterization meant but some of you do not understand. I'll simplify it(dumb it down). I have received separation papers from the guard. I'm out of the system and can go to MEPS anytime to go ahead and go to the navy. I have the waiver, it wasn't a problem to get. I'm not in any trouble, we didn't have to jump through any hoops to get my waiver and I pretty much got the waiver myself with minimal help from the navy. The NGB form 22 means everything when it comes to discharge from the guard. They DO NOT have a DD 214 and the NGB is their version of a DD 214. Are yall following this? I've had background checks, I'm not a deserter or AWOL. I was a minor when I signed up and I have talked to my unit. They couldn't even locate my files upon first glance. The guard is a joke and didn't even realize or care that I wanted to get out, therefore I received credit for two years of service. I'm no longer in the military and there are no charges, or consequences pending. If you are just going to slander me then don't answer the question at all. Most of you pretenders or military personell think you are so righteous and look down upon people who get out. To each his own and mind your own god***** business.

Your right I don't get it thats why I did not reply before...
But its most apparent the being a State employee you would not for a form for the Department of Defense (DD)

If I would guess, from your other question, because you did basic during high school and then choose not to enlist, you really have no requirement for discharge paperwork.
You had a form of delayed enlistment that allowed you to complete you basic at 17. The Army uses this tool to shorten the time before recruit is deployable...
I am only guessing on this...try the DAV or american legion...make sure you explain the delayed enlistment part...

Good Luck

Those of us who would have answered your question most likely won't with insulting everyone by telling us you are dumbing down your previous question. It seems to me that you didn't like the answers you were getting on your previous question. If there was misunderstanding on your previous question it was in the way you worded it... so don't get all high and mighty. You said you completed basic training and upon completion YOU decided you didn't want to go back...what was misunderstood in that statement. After basic you can't just simply decide that you don't want to go back...surly during the time you were in the guard after basic your unit tried to contact you by phone or something...it's not very likely that they just forgot you were there.

The NGB 22 is the state version of the DD-214 and is just as valid and legal as the DD-214. Whatever characterization of service and RE code you have on the NGB 22 is what you have.
