Alternative to an implant surgery.?

My doctor said my eyes weren't eligible for lasik surgery because something was too thick. But instead an implant surgery is what I needed. Is there any alternative to that and is implant be accepted by the US Army or Air Force

THe implant is when they surgically input a contact lens inside the eyes

implant sx? I work for an eye doctor as an eye technician and I've never hear of implant sx so you need to be a bit more specific. There is a Contact Lens sx where they surgically put a contact lens in there. I think its pretty new.

oh and your corneas were probably too thin was the reason for not being able to do the LASIK?

Thats the only alternative I know of. and I don't know why it wouldn't be accepted!
