Am I ready to become a PJ?

I am 17 and thinking about becoming a pj [ para-rescue jumper] I have the smarts and determination but im wondering if I am physically fit enough to become a pj. I am not a top ten football or basketball recruit but im athletic and wrestle I am just wondering is that good enough to get me through or am I not ready for a whole different league

p.s. I am an ok swimmer I know all the strokes and always had a pool and swim at the beach

If you want to even have a shot at being a PJ you can't be an ok swimmer. You're going to have to become an excellent swimmer to even give yourself a shot.
