I wouldn't worry about that, the USA has additional weaponry in reserve for far more challenging tasks than policing a country. The nuclear response needed to fight off any aggressors would be awesome in it's retaliation, and these potential aggressors know it! Remember we also have the nuclear submarine fleet as well! You should really look into history. In WWII we lost over 8,000 troops in one month in the battle for Iwo Jima. Plus if need be We still have every male ready for a draft if needed.

You should quit thinking. If any country invaded the US now, they would be defeated just like everyone else. And no, we still would not need a draft for all the people posting about a draft.

I would be very interested as to where you are getting your info regarding America not being able or ready or even willing to defend its self.

Yes too many troops have died but like my son they KNOW what they are signing up for, so that's a moot point.

I can ASSURE you that the home front is more than capable to defend its self and whilst I am not even a US citizen I can also assure you I would take up any arms to defend the country I have picked to live in.........and no worries this little section of Florida is armed to the teeth just by speaking to neighbors and as most of them are either serving mil. or retired am pretty sure that at least this road will not go down without a fight......as for bombs well I am also reasonably certain the the USA as does the UK have more than enough stock piled ready and able to be let off at any given target at any given time......its not like we need to find some dummy to strap a home made device to their back and run into a crowd screaming......we just aim and push a button...much easier and far more advanced than some countries could ever hope to achieve.
