we all know our soldiers are heroes, thats a given, but i think we need more heroes at home making decisions that honestly help the people here at home, not spend billions on a war that is impossible to win.
right now, we all could have health care provided to us with what the war has cost us so far.
we need heroes that will work for what the people ACTUALLY need, fixing the problems with the school systems, the economy, the real estate slump, health care, dealing with the environment..... and we need them overseas that will establish working relationships with other nations, instead of damaging them beyond belief.
we need severe change, and it cant come fast enough. |

American needs heroes at home ... not necessarily in politics, but in the form of productive dissent and activism, which would force political thought onto the right track again, after all of these misguided years.
American doesn't need anymore brave bullet dodgers overseas, though they are heroes ... America needs some of those same brave bullet dodgers to also rise up against the blatantly misguided and ineffective policies they are witnessing. Then they will be double heroes and they can return home to their families ... proud in the knowledge that they truly did something noble for their country. |
