Any PSYOP army wives out there? My husband is joining, just curious what to expect?

He is active duty already just changing jobs, and is scheduled to begin training next march. We have two children and will be moving to the states from oconus. I'm just wondering a little what his job will be like, how much he will be gone. We keep getting told he will be deployed 10 months out of the year. I guess I'm hoping this is not true, but I may just have to get used to it. We will be stationed @ Ft. Bragg. Also any info on the base itself?

well it depends on his unit and MOS, with psyhops as a printer I was deployed for 4 months and had six months off, my husband who worked a radio station in Afghanistan or Iraq, got deplpyed for 9 months and was home every six months.
FT Bragg only has resturantes and not much to do for fun and leisure, you will have to go to Raliegh or Myrtle beach to find things to do. |
