Which country are you from, how old are you now (and when you left), what did you do in the military, what was your rank, and what job, if any, do you do now?

U.S. Army (active duty) I was in for 4 years. Joined when I was 20 and got out when I was 24. My MOS was 71LF5, Administrative Specialist/Postal Operations Clerk. I was a Specialist when I got out. Now I work at a VA hospital in Medical Administration. |

I fled Zimbabwe just on a year ago, with my wife and 2 suitcases. My daughters had left over 8 years ago and they kept on at me to leave that disaster. So I sold up and left. Very sad. I was a sargeant in a mobile armoured mortar unit in the Rhodesian Army with 12 years service. After so called "independance" in 1980 went into the real estate business and did reasonably well. Now an OAP here in the UK and bored stiff. |

I was 16 when I joined the Royal Marines, left as a marine at 19 with a knee injury, went to Russia as a private contractor at the age of 20 and did that until I was 26, now im 27 and I work in a camping and outdoor shop |

I joined the Royal Marines in 1986 at 16 years of age.
I left in 1997 after a fall messed my knees up I was a sergeant on the date I left.
I'm an engineer I design electrical systems for the RN.
During my time in the Marines I served in Iraq, Yemen, Diego Garcia, Belize, Brunei, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and a wealth of other African nations, Hong Kong, Canada and the US |
