Anyone know anything about army fat camp?

I timed myself yesterday and am not at the min. mile run for basic training. i read that they will put recruits in a fat camp. i wanted some more information on this before i go. anyone know anything about it?

lol there is no such thing as a fat camp ahha. people call boot camp "fat camp" because fat kids tend to lose a lot of weight. if you are struggling in anything, expect to be drilled hard to you get it, or woken up earlier to get it done, or even held back to another boot division coming in. you shouldn't be reading yahoo answers to get your facts. talk to your recruiter, he is 100% legit and knows everything you need to know

hey man. i timed myself today and when i really pushed myself to my limit i knocked off 3 to 4 mins. on my run. also when you run with a group of your peers you will have more motivation to do better. i dont know why but i always do better with a group on the run. just push yourself to your limit when your timing yourself. other days just do your normal run and sprint from like one light pole to the next to build up speed. main thing is dont give up. basic training will get you where you need to be in the end anyways.
